a:gain is an agile and innovative start-up/scale-up on an exciting growth journey. We upcycle scalable waste sources to valuable scalable new finished products for the professional real-estate and construction industry. We innovate, develop, produce, and sell products to directly substitute existing products produced from new raw materials. We work for both lower CO2 footprint and resource use. We are experts in creating valuable upcycled products from scalable sources of waste. We see opportunities when others see waste.

When working for a:gain, you will…
- Drive product design development of the existing and new products in close collaboration with our production partners and customers, with a clear focus on creating commercially scalable products
- Work closely with production partners to design & develop products that work efficiently in production and minimises waste
- Occasionally work with external designers or architects on specific product designs
- Design and development of product packaging that stays true to our sustainability purpose and works to protect products from transport damages
- Take part and responsibility in building the necessary technical specification for product launch, awareness and marketing
- Develop QC procedures for our products to ensure highest possible quality at our production partners
- Drive preparation and development of graphical, render and photographic material for packing, product catalogue, marketing material, web etc. to support sales
When working together, we expect that you have…
- Experience as Product Designer Development from similar jobs, ideally within furniture, interior, or building products
- Understanding of how to convert customer needs into beautifully designed products that can be commercialised
- Education within relevant field, i.e. industrial design, product architect or similar
- Understanding of production flows, processes, and challenges from close collaboration with producers
- Are an experienced user of Adobe Creative Suit, Rhino and office365
- Extensive industry-relevant network in Denmark and potentially also neighbouring markets
