At a:gain, we maintain a strong focus on the Danish market, where we work diligently to promote circular and upcycled building materials. One such opportunity arose recently when we entered into a promising collaboration with Markus Michenthaler and his concept, Green Square by m3 Einrichtungen, which now represents a:gain on the Austrian market.

A natural match of values and visions

Markus Michenthaler, founder of Green Square, has created a platform driven by his passion for sustainability and design. Green Square brings together innovative materials and products from across Europe. Among its offerings are furniture and building products made from recycled materials such as fishing nets and electronic waste, as well as upcycled solutions that transform waste into functional flooring, partitions, and acoustic panels.

Markus’ values and approach align closely with our own, making this partnership both natural and inspiring. This makes Green Square an ideal representative for a:gain in Austria, where we now have the opportunity to present our circular building materials and products to new clients and projects.

Formalized in Copenhagen

The collaboration was formalized during a visit to Copenhagen, where Markus had the opportunity to discuss visions and strategies for building awareness about a:gain in Austria. The visit also allowed him to experience some of our Danish project references and meet with several of his other partners in sustainable construction and design.

While our primary focus remains on the Danish market, we are excited to extend our reach through a partner who shares our commitment to a sustainable future. As Markus himself puts it:
