Origin
Dybø PET felt is produced from used plastic bottles collected in europe. It consists of 75% recycled PET and there is no waste in the production as all offcuts are recirculated back into production. Read more on how we turn waste into products here.
'Dyb' means deep in danish and this product is sure to draw you in deeper, both in its tactility and of course in the way it brings calm to any space it's mounted in.
Attention: Please know that this product is still being developed, tested and refined, so some data may vary. Contact us for more information.

Colours
Dybø is available in the colours; white, black, painted light gray, mottled anthracite gray, recycled gray, and mottled brown.
The varying patterns, that arise from the mixed input, fascinate most of our customers. We hope it draws your eye as well.

Material development and characteristics
Once PET bottles have been recycled a number of times the plastic becomes milky white and crisp. To further lengthen the product’s life, it is ground down and spun into thin threads which are subsequently felted.
The end product is a lightweight acoustic batt, which can be produced with the highest fire and sound properties that do not emit dust or other emissions to the indoor climate.
