Origin
DraughtMaster rPellets are made from post-consumer waste from Carlsberg's disposable DraughtMaster kegs. Once the DraughtMaster kegs are empty and collected, they cannot be disposed of or sorted as ordinary plastic. The kegs, therefore, end up as plastic waste. To repurpose the plastic, we wash, sort and granulate the material.

Collection
Used Carlsberg DraughtMaster kegs are collected in whole country from bars, hotels, restaurants etc.
Granulation
Cleaned kegs are ground down to a flaky consistency. All processes throughout our manufacturing occur in Denmark
Pelletisation
Recycled LDPE is mixed in along with additives to then be turned into pellets with good material characteristics for production.
Cutting:
The material is thermoplastic, so machinery should run slowly through.
Colour:
The deep carlsberg green is calm and works with both dark and bright elements.
Surface:
Depending on production method, everything from high gloss to matte is possible.
UV:
The mix of plastics make extruded parts suitable outdoors with a slow color degrade process.
