Description

At a:gain we upcycle the Carlsberg DraughtMaster kegs into various products within the built environment. Carlsberg is also the supplier of beers and non-alcoholic beverages to the Bella Group in Ørestad, Copenhagen, which is one of Denmark's leading businesses in the hotel, conference, event and hospitality industry.
We have for a specific meeting room, called The Brewery, delivered a:gain x Wehlers RUM chairs with upcycled Carlsberg DraughtMaster. A custom-made conference table made from upcycled Carlsberg DraughtMaster. a:gain Flarø acoustic wall cladding made of upcycled textiles and with wooden lamellas made of Bella Groups own demolition wood which we saved in corporation with demolisher, Søndergaard Nedrivning. Finally, the floor is our a:gain x Junckers upcycled floor, Funderø.
The room inspires many national and international guests and showcases how design and circular economy can walk hand-in-hand.

Funderø Classic Danish is a mix of ash and oak, giving it a rich, classic appearance that would complement any meeting room. Funderø is recycled from remnants originating from JUNCKERS’ flooring production.
