The circular, Danish furniture brand Mater has joined forces with a:gain to reproduce a garden furniture collection first created in 1955 by the 20th century’s most renowned design couple: Nanna and Jørgen Ditzel. Mater and a:gain released this collection in mid-May 2021 and the very first customer for these products was of course Carlsberg. They have ordered chairs and tables for their new water recycling plant in Fredericia and their HQ Terrace. The chairs and tables fit perfectly in Carlsberg's environments around their HQ and Water Recycling Plant bringing a touch of Danish design. To sit on products made out of their own waste will for sure encourage talks about circular economy.
