Novo Nordisk Innovation Lab is a unique project for a:gain. In Novo Nordisk Innovation Lab, only repurposed materials have been used in the building proces. Several of the repurposing solutions are made from Novo Nordisk's own waste. Especially Novo Nordisk's used insulin pens have been used, both in a kitchen table top, interior panelling for the toilets and as aggregate in cement flooring.

Hjælmø end grain flooring upcycled of discarded material from window frame production in collaboration with NORTO.
Nærø acoustic batts are repurposed from worn out textiles, from Novo Nordisk own production. These batts were specifically manufactured for this project, however we do offer an equivalent in Nærø.
Upcycled from 100% used Novo Nordisk
insulin pens. The method is the
same as with our Fusø boards.
