Burnt wood facade
100% upcycled wooden cladding, made with wooden beams from the construction of the Copenhagen metro. The wood has been treated with surface charring and linseed oil.
The Resource Rows, in Ørestaden, is a lighthouse project, within recycling of building materials. Resource efficiency and optimised utilisation of resources are the main themes of the project. The building has a very characteristic aesthetic, as the brick facades are cut outs, taken directly from buildings that were to be demolished. Pieces of 1 m² brickwork have been cut out and then incorporated into new facade elements. The building has a well utilised roof area, where each terraced house gets its own small wooden roof house, made of 100% repurposed materials.

Made with cutout brick elements from around Copenhagen. The facade is created by mixing various brick cut outs and re-casting in a mould.
Solid wood flooring made with Dinesen oak offcuts. It is rare to see solid wood in many newer developments, especially solid oak, which adds a touch of class and quality to all the terraced houses.
