Description

At the Carlsberg Lounge at Anfield, Liverpool, football supporters from all around the world come to enjoy a game and a pint. During the 2022 World Cup, a longer break in the match program allowed for an upgrade of the lounge. “With the help from our friends at a:gain, who have delivered customised tables and chairs made with upcycled Draughtmaster material, we have not only upgraded the overall look, but also taken a step towards a more sustainable football experience. "[I am] really proud to see danish design and waste-based interior in our Lounge and can’t wait for our guests to experience it. I’m definitely biased, but the Carlsberg Lounge is one of the very best places to be on a match day, and now it’s even better” says Global Sponsorship Director at Carlsberg Group, Louise Bach. “We are so proud that danish design and waste-based interior will be present at Anfield. Thereby also showcasing how danish green start up companies such as a:gain is spreading the word internationally on how to provide solutions to preserve our scarce resources on our beautiful planet. The R.U.M. chair recently won the Bo Bedre Sustainability Award 2022.” says CCO at a:gain, Christian Wittrup
