Dybø is an acoustic batt made our of post-consumer PET plastic bottles, collected in Europe. It has become a popular ceiling batt, installed in office ceilings, cafeterias, meeting rooms and staircases. It’s of course installable as a wall acoustic or elsewhere as any other acoustic batt as well.

What materials is Dybø made of and how much is waste based?
Dybø PET felt is produced from used plastic bottles collected in Europe. It consists of 75% recycled PET and there is no waste in the production as all offcuts are recirculated back into production.
Does Dybø contain any hazardous substances?
No. It consists solely of non-hazardous polyester fibres. Polyester is a material that is common in textiles and food containers.
Is the material recyclable?
Yes, polyester is one of the most frequently recycled polymers.
